I was wondering if others find strong colour as theraputic as I do, both handling it as an artist, and looking at it as a viewer of other's works.

My work often shows my love of pure and deep colours, both in the traditional sense, and when using black since, as Matisse once said, black is a colour too.

Working with and looking at strong colours always gives me a real buz and balancing one strong colour against another is a special challenge - like dueling intellectually with light and shade - an exercise not matched in any other activity I engage in.
