Dimo Kolibarov is an exceptionally well known Bulgarian printmaker born in 1965 in Pomorie, Bulgaria. He specializes in etchings and aquatints. His pictures are fairy-tale dreams from the world of children's imagination or surrealistic multidimensional accounts of the passing of time or the evolution. His style is distinct and the quality of work is excellent. Kolibarov has participated in exhibitions all around the world since 1989.He has had the honour to represent Bulgarian artists in Bulgarian arts shows in many places around the world.
Hunters of happiness
This is a very good example of a typical “Kolibarov”. Here we have lots of details and fantasy. 3 fantasy figures in a flying bed searching for happiness with a bag net. Is the “happiness” one of the things we see flying in the air?
