This is an abstract depiction of a meteoroid glowing from atmospheric ram pressure pursued by an ionization trail over Anvil Island in British Columbia Canada. Every summer meteor showers occur over the northern hemisphere. Many people turn out to watch them—some ‘make a wish’ or two. I use gypsum, stones, silicon, amazonite, pyrite, stained glass, acrylics and lacquer in creating this piece.
The piece is not reproducible in print due to its three dimensional qualities.
