'Change of Venue': Is example of distillation and extension of the media in service to the visual and the idea. The squares are a restatement and extension of the motif of floating windows, at the same is an abstraction of that motif to a symbolic essence of the 'digital'. Using the horizontal blue swath as pathway, these forms create a movement that counter the verticality of the building. How these shapes are presented and placement have also to do with a sense of visual dissonance and harmony, strength and subtlety. Urban inhabitants hold a character of being transient, the cities are a place from which to begin dreams of being elsewhere or finding ones place, thus ideas of movement and a changing of venue are of visual import.
All materials, techniques and pigments used in producing this print are archivally in line with museum protocols. Print is frontally titled and signed with copyright. Should you wish a different size or possibly a Giclee print (printed on a heavy watercolor paper substrate such as Arches) we may come to a reasonable pricing agreement.
