Excellent condition. Drawn full sheet on white laid paper using black and brown charcoals. A beautifully drawn double portrait of two Taos Pueblo women by Taos, New Mexico, artist Joseph Imhof. Perhaps best known as a graphic artist, Imhof was an accomplished artist in a variety of mediums, as evidenced by this drawing. A good general reference on Imhof, his life, and his art, is Joseph Imhof: Artist of the Pueblos by Reily and Enix (1998).
